Thank you for your interest in Camp Wise. From June – August, please use our “At Camp” information. During the rest of the year, we can be found at our Beachwood location.

How do I get to Camp Wise?

Directions to Camp Wise:

From the Mandel JCC area:

Follow Route 87 East to Route 44. Turn left (north) on Route 44 and follow it to Mayfield Road (3.2 miles). Turn right (east) onto Route 322 (Mayfield) and follow it to Taylor Wells Road (1.6 miles). Turn right (south) onto Taylor Wells Road, and follow it to the Camp Wise entrance (1.6 miles), on the right.

OR

Take South Woodland Road east, all the way to Burton (Route 87). When you hit the town square, go three quarters of the way around the square, and turn right on Main Street. Follow until you hit a fork in the road. Take the left fork, which is Taylor Wells Road. Camp Wise will be on your left.

From the Cleveland Heights/Severance area:

Follow Mayfield Road (Route 322) east past Route 44 to Taylor Wells Road (approximately 20 miles). Turn right (south) onto Taylor Wells Road and follow it to the Camp Wise entrance (1.6 miles) on the right.

From the Akron JCC area:

Follow Route 77 north to Route 271 north to the Mayfield Road exit (east – Gates Mills) Route 322. Take Mayfield east to Taylor Wells Road (1.6 miles past Route 44). Turn right (south) onto Taylor Wells Road and follow to Camp Wise entrance (1.6 miles) on the right.

From the Youngstown JCC area:

Follow Belmont Avenue past Squaw Creek County Club to Route 82. Take a left on Route 82 west toward Warren to Route 422 – Cleveland. Take a right on Route 422 approximately 14 miles to the light at 528. Take a right on Route 528 approximately _ mile to Route 168, turn left. Route 168 takes you through Burton and straight out of town passing the Geauga County Fair Grounds on your right. Continue past Butternut; watch for the split in the road on your left. Bear left at the fork, and follow Taylor Wells Road to the Camp Wise entrance, less than one mile on your left.
