Lenny Rubin Israel Center

Dedicated to informal Jewish education and Israel education, Lenny Rubin was the beloved Camp Wise director from 1972-1975. He is remembered fondly by his campers and staff members. After losing his courageous battle to brain cancer in the spring of 2007, we built the Lenny Rubin Israel Center to honor his commitment to Camp. The Center is the home base of our Israeli Culture program area at camp and is an Israel resource room for all campers and staff.

Donations to the Lenny Rubin Israel Center are used to support all forms of Israel education at Camp Wise, including bringing Israeli staff and campers to camp, implementing Israel education programs, and sending our own SITs to Israel.
