- Resume Building
- Participants will bring laptops or materials with a resume/cover letter and get tips about how to market camp on their resume. Small group rotation will allow for one on one help based on their role at camp and major or job. Participants can work together to help each other.
- How to Network
- Learn how to stay connected to the community you’re in, market yourself, and make connections to people. Teach LinkedIn, ways to stay connected, and communicate with others.
- Camp and Summer Jobs in the Workplace
- Participants can talk about how camp or a summer job can be used in interviews and work outside of camp world. Can include interview tips, how to tie in camp experiences with future work, etc. Could potentially set up mock interviews in specialized areas and potential questions people may be asked and how to come prepared with solid foundation answers.
- Camp Throughout the Year
- Participants will split up into small groups to talk about what staying connected to camp throughout the school year may look for them. Can come up with different options as a small group to bring to a larger group with ways to stay connected. Examples: organizing camp Shabbats on campus, planning to hang out with current and past staff in the area.
In order to provide a safe environment, all participants must provide a copy of their vaccine card (in advance e-mailed to Rebecca at rcopeland@mandeljcc.org OR bring in person on December 22). Masks will be required unless outdoors or eating.
